Happy New Year! We have been learning about the traditions and celebrations associated with the Chinese New Year.

We shared oranges (for good luck), fortune cookies and red envelopes with a gold (chocolate) coin. We practiced Chinese writing, made Chinese lanterns and dragons. It has been great fun to learn about another culture! Gung hei fat choi!
