Mrs. Newton’s Marvelous Wax Museum

Mrs. Newton’s 6th-8th grade students hosted an incredible Wax Museum on Tuesday,

January 31st at TMSA.The 6th grade students astounded everyone with their knowledge base and respectful behavior sharing each time period and culture they researched. From the Caribbean to West Africa back to Mexico and Great Britain, many cultures were represented. The Civil Rights Movement was present along with The Holocaust and Great Depression. Even the Cherokee and Aztecs made an appearance along with many more wonderful presentations. Students from 7th grade shared many famous inventors and scientists including George Washington Carver, Henry Ford, and even Louis Braille. Students shared wonderful stories and what they learned. The 8th grade students contributed their chosen career choices from Acting to Music Producing to even defending our country hence the Army and Lawyer presentations. Many compliments were given to the students by various teachers, parents, guests, and other students. The Wax Museum was a success and hopefully will be one of many to come. Thank you to all students, parents, teachers, and guests for any contributions, help, and support.
