Teachers: Being a teacher is one of the most honorable jobs. Teachers deserve to be respected as much as parents do. It is true that parents are
the people who know their children best however, I believe that great teachers have as much knowledge as the parents do about the students in most cases. In our school, being disrespectful to a teacher is a reason to receive an Office Referral. Students need to be more careful when they talk to their teachers and be more respectful. Our teachers are great teachers and being a great teacher means:
- Always being there
- Being accessible
- Knowing students on a personal basis
- Having a good relationship their student’s parents
- Knowing what they are teaching
- Attending school events
- Visiting students’ houses and neighborhoods
- Being fair
- Being professional
Teachers give a lot of their time and energy to our students. Let’s respect them!
Weekend Tutoring: TMSA will keep offering EOG/EOC weekend tutoring this Saturday, February 4th. Since we will be having our Open House on the same day, tutoring will be held from 9am to 12pm. After the tutoring sessions, we will be serving pizza to the students. Please encourage your child to attend these study sessions.
