After taking a week off, we will be going to another wrestling event this weekend

(February 4th), Southern Championship in Charlotte.  I am very pleased with our wrestlers’ performance even though we have had several disappointments in the past few events. As of now, our team is looking great and my expectation is to see at least three of our wrestlers in the finals and six or seven of our wrestlers in the top five at NC State Championship on March 10, 2012.

Also, I am working on some fundraising opportunities for our wrestling team so that we can raise some additional money to purchase some items that our wrestling team needs.  The items needed are:

• match uniform (singlet)

• wrestling gears (head gear, mount guard, sweat shirt and sweat pant, etc.)

• wrestling shoes for those in need

• tournament liability insurance

• pay entree fee for those in need

In order for our fundraiser to be successful, I am going to need your help. The parents of our wrestlers will be receiving an email from me with additional information.
