Greetings! The TMSA Athletics Program is proud to say that our student athletes are performing at a high level and continue to improve!
We have had a number of our student athletes to receive invitations into the TMSA National Honor’s Society due to their academic performances and display of honorable character. We, the TMSA Athletics Program, are fully committed to assisting our young student athletes in developing strong habits in order to properly prepare them for college and the future. At this moment, we would like to give a prestigious acknowledgement to all those who received the invitations. WAY TO GO TIGERS and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!

Please come out and help us to continue to show support for our student athletes. February 7th is the last HOME game of the season and it is against our rivalry, Quality Education Academy. SO MAKE SURE YOU COME OUT, ENJOY SOME GREAT BASKETBALL GAMES, FOOD, AND SCHOOL AND FAMILY FUN!!!!
The TMSA Athletics Program is in the process of preparing for next year and without a shadow of a doubt, our main focus is FUNDING! We are targeting to expand next year into the fields of softball, baseball, track, wrestling, and volleyball. We have been blessed to have a wonderful Booster Club that is heading up the fundraising for the TMSA Athletics Program. The TMSA Booster Club is holding an interest meeting this Friday, February 3rd, at 6:00pm in the TMSA Auditorium. Topics of discussion will be current fundraisers, open floor for new fundraisers, community service activities, accepting new Booster Club Members, and much, much more. If you have ANY interest in sports, student athletes, fundraising, school spirit, and the overall success of the athletics program, please make time in your busy schedule and attend the meeting. On a final note, we want to begin organizing our community service efforts for our student athletes. This is a must so we can really emphasize to our student athletes that the opportunity they have is a privilege that NOT everyone has the chance to accomplish and take full advantage. With that said, we want to give back to those who are less fortunate. A few places that come to mind that we can begin contacting are the United Way, Urban Ministries, Red Cross, Children’s Hospital, and the Women’s Hospital. We can also participate in marathon walks (e.g. Walk for Cancer, Diabetes, and etc.). If you have any other suggestions, please email me immediately so we can plan accordingly.
