Last Saturday dawned bright, sunny, & warm. It was a beautiful day for the 2nd Annual TMSA Spring Picnic held on campus. A lot of families felt the same way because we had a great turn out.  The barbeque grill was fired up and our “cooks” (Thank you, Teachers!) prepared marinated shish kabob, grilled chicken, meat burgers, and hot dogs. 

The school also provided fresh garden salad, rice, and baklava. Some families brought dishes of their own to share; delicious salads and tasty desserts.

Along with our current TMSA families, those entering the school for the next year were invited to attend.  Those new to our school said how nice it was to be included in a school activity so early in their association with the school. 

The picnic tables filled quickly. Others made themselves comfortable sitting on the lawn. Everywhere you looked children were playing while parents and school staff talked and shared stories. There was basketball, soccer and other games to keep picnickers young and old busy. 

The picnic was a smashing success! We would like to thank the TMSA Faculty and volunteers who did an outstanding job organizing the food and beverages. A special thank you goes out to the parents that brought in their delightful contributions. Last, but not least, thanks to everyone who participated and made this day so very special. We are already looking forward to our next picnic!
