The elementary team for Science Olympiad had a competition in Raleigh over the weekend. Students were competing in events such as “Hot,Hot,Hot, Pasta Tower”, “Describe It,  Do It”, and “Short Circuits”.

The students in these events included Addison Adams, Kristin Britt, Carly Dotson, Zafira and Avion Harris, Brenden Sledge, and Brian Walters. These students spent months working with their coaches in order to get ready for their events. They did a wonderful job competing at the Raleigh tournament. I hope that all of our participants in the elementary division understand how proud their coaches are of them. Now let’s get to the results from the competition…TMSA’s elementary Science Olympiad took first place in the “Pasta Tower” event and fourth place in “Short Circuits”.
