One more unforgettable math cottage camp was written in TMSA’s history last weekend. Math Olympiad Club students were at High Rock Lake for a camp program between 7.00 pm on Friday, November 6th, and  1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 8th.

The camp program was organized in order to prepare math competitions and to build team spirit. Students were introduced to Math Olympiad problems and creative problem solving skills. They also had a chance to study as a group. During the camp we had following;

• 4th grade study for Continental Mathematics League and Math league
• 6th and 7th grade study for Math Counts and Math League
• Math 24 competition  for all grades (it was not very controversial)
• Funny game contests (billiards , basketball, air hockey)in the basement

We were fascinated with the beautiful view of the High Rock Lake. Math and nature was integrated. By the way, we would like to thank Mr. Kaplan who helped us during the camp.
