Greetings Tigers! I would like to congratulate our Turkish Olympiad team for their great success at the International Turkish Olympiads! Both students, Gabrielle Harris and Justin Logan, won 3rd place. Way to go Tigers!
We held the Award Ceremony on the last day of school with the participation of the TMSA Family and the distinguished guests. Governor Perdue was represented by Senator Howard Lee, Councilman Jim Kee attended on behalf of Mayor Knight. We also had guests from local colleges, as well as representatives of the TMSA board and the DPI Charter School Office. FLL Robot Race Lock-in was held on Friday, June 4th with a huge participation of students. Teams built and raced their robots to win prizes! The Lock-in started with a game ofcapture the flag outside.

Washington, D.C. was a glorious end-of-the year field trip! The students and chaperones truly enjoyed themselves. From traveling to four Smithsonian Museums to watching the Changing of the Guard at the Arlington Cemetery, our students and chaperones really figured out what walking was all about.
