Hong Kong Competition

Amir Hamidpour and Amir Bouloudene, two TMSA High School students, had the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong for an International Science Competition. The Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition is organized by The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Science Museum, and is sponsored by the Innovation and Technology Commission, as well as, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. It  encourages students to develop their creativity and apply their learned science knowledge to practical projects during the research process. The students exchanged science ideas with around 800 local and international students. The focus of their project was: "How to Reduce the Amount of Carbon Dioxide and Heavy Metal Wastes Contamination in the Oceans and Seas Using the Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3)."
