About the School Meals
We are proud to announce that Triad Math and Science Academy has been approved for Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). CEP is part of the National School Lunch Program that improves access to nutritious meals for students by providing breakfast and lunch to all students at no cost. This means that every enrolled student, regardless of household income, is eligible for free meals and will not need to submit free and reduced lunch applications.
TMSA strives to provide every student with a safe, nurturing, caring, engaging, and culturally-responsive learning environment. Children need proper nutrients so they can grow, develop and focus on learning instead of thinking about the food they need or how hungry they are. Ultimately, they need to be able to concentrate in the classroom so they can succeed in school and beyond. CEP enables us to meet that need and take our mission a step further.
TMSA offers meals through K12 by Elior, a Food Service Management Company.  Students are welcome to bring their lunch, if they prefer.  We have several microwaves in the cafeteria if students need to warm up their food.  Breakfast is offered in the mornings in the cafeteria from 7:15-7:40AM.
