We are excited to announce the TMSA Red Ribbon Poster Contest. Red Ribbon Week is celebrated in schools across America to celebrate drug-free lives, and to raise awareness for drug prevention.
TMSA Tigers make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be because they live Drug-Free! We are inviting all students from 6th grade to 12th grade to participate in TMSA Red Ribbon Poster Contest! Show us your commitment to a drug-free lifestyle, and get a chance to get one of the exciting prizes! Winners will represent TMSA on a National Level!
Students are going to develop a poster including a slogan along with a short (300 words) essay explaining their poster, and how drug use, and living drug free can impact their future plans. Students also have the opportunity to create a video besides their poster submissions. Best Slogan, Best Video and Best Essay will get prizes as well!
Helpful Hints:
Slogans should be brief and as catchy as possible. Last year's national slogan was "Drug Free Looks Like Me." Other recent theme slogans include "Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.", "Send A Message. Stay Drug Free.", "Life Is Your Journey. Travel Drug Free.", "Your Future Is Key, So Stay Drug Free.", "YOLO. Be Drug Free.", "Love Yourself. Be Drug Free.", "A Healthy Me Is Drug Free.", "The Best Me Is Drug Free," “It's Up To Me To Be Drug Free," "100% Me Drug Free,” “Look At Me I’m Drug Free” and “Drug Free Is The Key.” While the red ribbon should be prominently featured in the design, don’t be afraid to use other colors, as well.
