Testing Information

TMSA participates in all state-mandated tests. The calendar is updated as testing dates are finalized.

The state of North Carolina pays for every 11th grader to take the ACT once at their school. The test is free and scores can be sent to colleges or universities.

Students should aim to begin ACT and/or SAT testing in the middle of their junior year. This allows students time to improve their scores before applying to colleges.

Some dates are subject to change, and we will notify parents in the event of schedule changes.

* 10th graders will have preadministration for the Pre-ACT on November 19th, 2019 beginning at 8am in the cafeteria. The Pre-ACT will be given to 10th graders on November 20th.

* The PSAT/NMSQT scores will be available on December 9, 2019 for North Carolina schools.
